How to Merge PDF Files into One Document

Merging PDFs is handy when you need to send one tidy file instead of five β€” for example, an application form plus supporting documents.

Merge PDFs in four steps

  1. Open the Merge PDF tool.
  2. Add your PDFs in the order you want them to appear β€” the first file you add comes first.
  3. Add at least two files, then click the Merge button.
  4. Download the merged PDF.

Your files stay on your device

The Merge PDF tool runs entirely in your browser. Your PDFs are not uploaded to a server, so it is safe to use with private documents.

Tips

If one of your PDFs is password-protected, unlock it first β€” password-protected files can't be merged. If the result is too big to email, run it through the compress tool afterwards.

If you only need some pages from a large PDF, extract those pages first, then merge the smaller files.
